We spent a lovely week here, enjoying every minute
of it. The information on the website was very accurate, it was a superb
location in a peaceful, alpine village. There were beautiful views and various
walks in gorgeous countryside. It was also ideal for exploring further afield
eg Lake Bohinj and Ljubljana, a 50 minute train ride from Lesce-Bled station.
The supermarkets and bakery nearby were very good, but the supermarket in the
village appears to be no longer open so the Welcome Pack was very definitely
welcome!
The apartment was very clean and very well appointed with a delightful garden /
patio area which was ideal for the morning sunshine. It was well-equipped
though it would have helped if the kitchen had had the following; teaspoons,
tea-towel, bin bags and (for those of us who don't like espresso coffee) a
cafetiere.
We were met by a representative of the owners, as arranged. She was helpful but
we didn't need to use her again.
We would recommend this property, especially to couples who enjoy the quiet
life. However, this tranquility is punctuated regularly, without fail, by the
quarterly ringing of the church bells. No need for an alarm clock!

We loved the apartment - it was spacious, extremely
well equipped, and for 2 people it had everything we could possibly need. The
only feedback we have is the position of the bed and the inability to open the
bedroom door fully is a real pain. A small metal jug for the milk would have
been great for my barista partner who loved having a proper coffee machine and
decent bath towels would also be good.
Overall absolutely loved the property and had a wonderful week

ArchaSheffield - Fanastic apartment- beautiful surroundings. Review Submitted: September 6, 2009Date of Stay: August 2009
We have just spent an idyllic week in the rear apartment of this holiday home. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the best equipped and comfortable apartment I have ever stayed in. We did not have a car and enjoyed the 25-40 minute walk to Lake Bled (depending on which route we took) each day. The local shop - a 5 minute walk away - stocked everything we needed for the week and we enjoyed the local village restaurants(a choice of 2) I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends who enjoy peaceful, scenic surroundings with the luxury of fully equipped apartment.

We were in this appartement early August. We have a 1,5 year old son and is was the perfect location for us. Everything was available: dishwasher, dvd, garden, gardenchairs, laundrymachine, microwave. Good place to do much sightseeing. The village is very close to Bled and is really cute.

Vincentgop68 Wittenheim (France, Alsace)Nice appartment in a lovely place - Review Submitted: July 26, 2009Date of Stay: July 2009 Hi, I would definitely recommend the appartment. The accommodation was in accordance with the description. The apartment was clean and well equipped (microwave, dish washer, TV-DVD, etc). We had little problems with the coffee machine, and we would have appreciated to have a little bit more plates, glasses, but overall we are extremely satisfied. The village is very quiet and the appartment is perfect if you are looking for a place far away from urban noises. Which means that, this is not Ibiza (my god!) and if you are looking for night life activities, this is likely not the right place to stay - but I guess you already know this if you are interested in visiting this beautiful country). My wife and my two daughters (12 and 9) enjoyed so much our stay that we are already planning to come back.
Jan & SteLiverpool, EnglandExcellent apartment - Review Submitted: May 7, 2009Date of Stay: April 2009
We stayed in the ground floor (rear) apartment which was excellent, furnished to a high standard and very comfortable, there was everything there that you would need, we were met by an English speaking representative, Nadia, who was very helpful. There is a restaurant and a small supermarket 5 minutes walk away. The walk into Bled is lovely, we recommend the longer walk which takes you through the village of Selo and takes about 45 minutes and the views are fantastic. We highly recommend this apartment.
